Its dangerous havin your developing young players in a team that keeps getting pumped. But we will figure that out later.
We won last week against a far better team than Glenelg.

Take Grigg and Lyons out of the team and of course we're going to struggle. There's no one close to an AFL quality midfielder left.

If either one of them played tonight, we probably win comfortably.

Can anyone watching the game confirm if Otten has gone off with an injury / is being rested? Surely he hasn't actually gone the last 45 odd mins without a touch if he's actually out there???

Just heard Otten mentioned now. Also good to hear Knight's name mentioned a few minutes ago.

Porps is done. 10 disposals against the bottom team is just crap for a senior player looking to get back into the seniors.
Apparently he's nursing a back injury.

Could be a very meek and mild finish to a career for Porps :(

Porpy, Otto both 10 touches each simply not good enough
The 'ol second week back after injury blues strikes again.

Why does this occur?

It's like playing golf after you haven't had a hit for ages. The first few holes you hit it beautifully and can't believe your luck. How easy is this? Then after you've played a few holes it turns to shit and you throw your putter in the lake.

Yep, Otten had a couple of late touches. At least he's not injured.

Surely he didn't play a high percentage of game time? Perhaps layed in a lockdown key defensive role? Would be interested to hear from someone who was watching him closely.

Line outside to Brighton Road trying to get in

They're all Glenelg fans though, about 99:1 ratio in the ground
Ha ha, at least two thirds of the outer were crows fans. Bays supporters made more noise because Crows supporters aren't vehement supporters…yet…because most of them like me follow an SANFL team and the game really didn't matter. But tex looked a beast. Quick, smooth, a little out of touch - 3goal 3points with the worst imaginable delivery to him. Just play him already.

Oh…what is it with any Crows team - Bays21 frees to Crows11. FMD Glenelg got a ride, I think they were given a sympathy game to kick start the year.

Good:
- TEX!
- and not only that, he really looked good out there. Perhaps didn't attack it ferociously but still looked very comfortable on the leg e.g. did a nice dummy, stopped on a 10c piece, turned and snapped (scored a point), which was reminiscent of his goal against Brisbane last year. Also kicked a miracle goal from a good assist from Cameron.
- Speaking of which, Charlie isn't "ready" but that kid is going places, fantastic forward pressure, won a lot of 50/50s and can really hit the afterburners. Looked dangerous most of the time he got near it, some might say its a big call but I can easily see him overtaking Petrenko by this time next year at the absolute worst. Will be promoted, bookmark it.
- Brodie Martin was playing like he REALLY wanted to get back into the hoops. Man his story makes me sad, probably doesn't have a real future in the AFL side but has a big heart and looked too good for SANFL level a lot of times tonight. I still remember seeing him go down and was upset then even after 2 games.
- If I had a "decent" category I'd have put him there but CEY just scrapes in, he's another one that can look so good at times but lost as well. You'd think his time is running out to make a name for himself but there's definitely still something there.

Bad:
- Otten. Really got pantsed tonight I thought, which was disappointing. He'll be a few weeks yet at least and even then only if Shaw has a few stinkers at this rate.
- The rest of the backline. Was a bit of a mess, couldn't hold opponents out, gave up marks in one-on-one situations, couldn't spoil marking attempts on the lead and handballed each other into trouble.
- In their defence however we lost so many of the centre clearances it wasn't funny. Their rovers were all over us and at times you'd think Graham was rucking against Sandilands.
- Siggo. Was interested to see him play but didn't seem to offer a lot unfortunately. I wouldn't chastise him for being out-bodied a few times but he really didn't look comfortable with ball in hand either, even if he'd been paid a mark or free kick. There were two times in particular where he held the ball way too long and had to take short options which resulted in scores.

Ugly:
- The crowd booing Tex, get ****ed you backwards pricks.

I like that the SANFL umpires are preparing our players for what we'll cop in the AFL
