My initial thoughts on Boland, can move the ball but not fast enough to be successful at test level. Has proven me wrong against India, but against England he's looked slow as they're better against pace bowling than India is. Home and abroad. Chadd Sayers was similar. I was hopeful he would be better than he was, but alas it was a similar scenario for him in that he moved the ball more but was even slower.

The fines are quite steep. Each player in the 11 is docked 5% of their match fee for each over short. Australia would also lose points in the World Test Championship. But it only applies if England can bat another 6 overs.

Stokes must have been tempted to declare but the gamble seems to have paid off. Root and Archer have a 61 run partnership with possibly a few more to come.

I've known your initial thoughts on Boland because you've constantly bagged him even when he was playing for Victoria and said he'd never ever succeed at international level.

Doggett outperformed him in the first innings of the series but since then Boland has clearly outperformed him. Like you consistently call him "the trundler" and "Pieland" but you whinge whenever someone disagrees with you and say they can't have a mature discussion when all you do is type childish insults?
