Agree. Tony had a big heart and longevity but Ray was the more skillful.

Heath will be a future Captain. Already shows greater leadership than more seasoned guys like Rocca and Fraser.
By careers end i can see Heath captaining the Pies for 100+ games. Will never be a premiership captain because we are talking Collingwood here.

actually neville had the most talent but he was a head case. what about derek shaw the man who got no kicks no marks and no handballs in the 79 granny and was on for most of the game if not the whole game

Ray was a better player than Tony, and if they had both had equal careers, I would have voted for Ray.

However, Tony holds the Collingwood games record at 313, was the Premiership Captain in 1990 and won the Norm Smith medal. He exemplified the warrior spirit.

Ray, however brilliant, only ever played 146 games, and was never quite as hard as Tony.

However, I do think that Heath has a chance to be the best of them all. He's certainly extremely talented.
