I'm actually curious as to how these meet ups work.
Like, how does one introduce themself? On a first name or a username basis?
Also, does the obvious sexual tension between some posters translate to shenanigans at the meet up?
Which poster was it?
Eh. I'm talking in general.
I've met exactly 4 guys thru this site- either a one off hook up/dated/LTR and a FWB.
I've been very open about that, have posted about that in the past i dont care.
Obvious sexual tension?
it's not ******* rocket science is it..What's hard to understand?
Nominate a place. Turn up. Introduce yourself- "I'm x, or y on the forum. What beer would you like?"

Is this a requirement of the meetups? Am I expected to squish nutsacks with say, peternorth? Gotta say I'm not too keen on this but in the spirit of fairness will give it a crack.Me and Wooshette
was a glorious day when we finally got to squish each other's boobs
Well, what exactly did you imagine happened?
People showing up wearing night vision goggles or something?
In the end it's just meeting people who you happen to have had some previous interaction with. It's not mysterious, mate.

It's not a common meeting scenario either. I've never said "Hey, I'm Croweater, nice to meet you".
.
It's not unreasonable at all. I just reckon you might be over-complicating it.It's not a common meeting scenario either. I've never said "Hey, I'm Croweater, nice to meet you".
I've never met people after all previous association being through an online forum either.
If anything, it's axiomatically atypical. So I believe my asking the question was reasonable.
I have met a couple of absolute weirdos from here though.
But I've also met a few people from here who I now genuinely consider personal friends. I could never post here again and still be in regular touch with them.Colour me shocked.
