Just wondering what everyone thinks of this...I think one of a major defficiences as a team this year is that we have not been able to stop the big key forwards. Don't worry about Dustin, he is still a servicable champ, but where are we at CHB.

Bolton surely is a wing, half forward flanker...and you can say Lucas won a b/f at CHB but moving him there stuffs up the structure up forward, and we all seen what Brad Miller (just an emerging star - and underline emerging) can do to him TWICE this year.

I think in this coming trade period we should not just focus on midfielders but guys who can stop the ball when its coming inside the defensive 50.

But then who is out there thats obtainable? Ferguson and Fisher from the saints? I can't think of many others...

Or should we put MORE time into Henneman and give Solomon another crack at CHB, where he did stop Richo a few times a few years back and played as a very good 3rd tall before doing his knee.

...I miss Danny Jacobs!

Yep we definately need a permanent, capable CHB.

Even with Lucas back there we still look 1 big bloke short down back when playing the stronger teams, hence the persistence with Henneman.

There's a bloke lying in the VFL who could do the job.

He's 196cm, 95kgs, aged 22 and played as full-back/ruckman with Bendigo..only just missed being rookied by the Dons at the start of the year.

Would we be complaining if Guy Campbell got the job?

Interesting you say that - I actually thoguht he was much older than that. he is a big boy. But could he make the step up?

2 players we should look at being CHB - Bradley - a year or two away - maybe not - look at Rivers. He needs a big pre-season in the gym and he might just be a shot. The other is Hunt - assuming we don't turf him.

Otherwise - we need to recruit some big lads who play KP at the draft.

Wouldn't surprise Pevers if we pick him up late in the draft, so we might be able to get some idea of what he can do, with a view to giving him a shot at it.

The feelings from Bendigo, lead by Nick Carter no less, would suggest to me that he would be an asset.

The problem with Bradley is that awkwardness...seems a more likely forward than defender to be honest.

Sammy is probably going to get the flick..which is unfortunate.
