Fair enough
And That Fogarty blow to Weiters that caused a melee?

Disagree.Nothing.
So it's not fair enough that Williams got a week, at all. If it was consistently applied across the AFL you might have an argument, but it's not.
Nothing. But plow got 2 for something similar albeit O’Meara stayed down
Disagree.
Williams act was worth a week.
Fogarty's is worth 2.
Wasn't even mentioned on 360...but William's was...with footage shown. If something is wrong, it's wrong isn't it? Doesn't become less wrong because anither wrong act wasn't cited.
Plow was going for the ball, and spoiled the ball
That's true...but I see it as a separate issue and something that's rotten across umpiring and handing out penalties. But we need to hold firm on what is a crap act and what Williams did was crap as was what Fogarty did. I'd like to know what the reasoning is behind Fogarty...maybe they are still deliberating on it?But 'fair' means it needs to be applied evenly.
OMG...Hamill being talked to re: assistant coaching position according to Sam M
Do not want, if he can’t cut it with the aints too bad.
Jeepers
Why is he an arseh*le? John Elliot was the arseh*le! Hamill had every right to leave after Elliot embarrassed him publicly at the Best and Fairest. I was there and it was appalling!OMG...
Aaron Hamill... Don't want that arseh*le back at the club...
Would rather get Barker back
I'm sick of copping it from both ends for crap acts. That's true...but I see it as a separate issue and something that's rotten across umpiring and handing out penalties. He did though, originally, with Eddie, Yaz and Andrew Walker getting caught up in his gambling and drinking antics. Plus probably others. You're assuming that Fev will come back and all of a sudden lead the players into trouble like some kind of pied piper. You're assuming a lot about Fev and also our players.
Cant really disagree with Lloyd.
Gotta disagree, the examples given for Weitering and Jones could have been taken from any game this year. Our defensive effort has stunk all year, and clearly there’s issue with the game plan, or player effort to apply defensive pressure reliably. In fact, I’d say outside or Weitering, Jones and Plow, all players are guilty. Those specific examples but are just one on ones that happen every game. The Melbourne one was a pack so of course there was going to be multiple players.
But that's the issue we've been talking about regularly isn't it?Gotta disagree, the examples given for Weitering and Jones could have been taken from any game this year. We want our defenders to play tight one on one and stop giving their opposition players easy marks and easy handball chains. But we also want out defenders to drop off their man and help intercept too. So what do you do when the forward you are marking is 15m away from the next forward?
Do you guard space, do you stay tight?
