Does this look like a man that is going anywhere except to a Carlton 17th premiership?
I think not.
Crippa is a build it yourself kind of guy. He said so himself. He will see this through and then some.

Data tells a whole lot of tales. Cripps made lots of errors, ball use would be down.![]()
The ‘elite’ players at your AFL club for season 2021 revealed
Superstars snubbed as every club’s ‘elite’ players for 2021 revealedwww.foxsports.com.au
Please tell me how Cripps isn't considered 'elite' but Stevie Motlop and Mason Cox are? I understand he was injured for most the year, but seriously? The bloke played the whole season through 3 dislocated shoulders and still was bloody good.
Anyhow, Fisher also being up there is a slight surprise. After-all 2020 was his first year as a small forward, and was overcoming his syndesmosis injury. In 2021, the sky is the limit for young![]()
Hence ball use down. Would be interesting to do a deep dive but, he will be elite again this year so I couldn’t be bothered. You would think that, but Cripps this year averaged 67.7% disposal efficiency. By no means is this excellent, but it's less than 2% lower than his career average of 69.5%.
If he helps others around him to be better, and that helps us win games, couldn’t care less where some random data print out rates him.Hence ball use down. Would be interesting to do a deep dive but, he will be elite again this year so I couldn’t be bothered.
Yep. If we're going to pick at other players being classed as elite, then we need to question Fisher's inclusion. Love him, but not elite... yet.zac fisher elite? nuh uh.........
Average/above average players often look elite in sides that regularly demolish their opposition.cats had 8 aa players when they were winning flags.............8!

McEvoy, Goldstein, Naitanui and Gawn are all rated elite. There are only 18 different #1 ruckman in the league and 1/4 of them are elite?Champion Data
