Data tells a whole lot of tales. Cripps made lots of errors, ball use would be down.

You would think that, but Cripps this year averaged 67.7% disposal efficiency. By no means is this excellent, but it's less than 2% lower than his career average of 69.5%.

Hence ball use down. Would be interesting to do a deep dive but, he will be elite again this year so I couldn’t be bothered.

Yep. If we're going to pick at other players being classed as elite, then we need to question Fisher's inclusion. Love him, but not elite... yet.
So, Saad and Walsh. At the end of this year I think we will count Saad, Walsh, Cripps, Weitering and Docherty.
Weitering should be classed as elite now. He's elite in multiple areas for a KPD.
Potential for Williams and McKay too, but obviously won't have 7 elite players.

'elite'. Going by their own system you cannot be given a rating unless you have played a minimum of 10 afl games over two years, which Rowell has not. I understand he dominated those couple games he did play, but it seems wrong.
