I'm like you and thought that Williamson was a shocker 18 months ago and had no feel for the game. Reckon he has improved a fair bit since then. Doesn't mean that I won't hold him personally responsible if we lose.

I don’t think Nathan Williamson is a bad umpire - I think he’s a cheat, there’s a tremendous difference.

I thought the brissy game was much more umpired than the others, he was the central umpire.

Lots in our game and the pies game was let go the “whistle was put away”, not that brissy game.

We’ll see, one thing I know is that after the game Thy won’t be happy!!!!

no - all umpires are corrupt - they cheat - are biased - and hate carlton like the desserts miss the rain..........

Imagine being one if the greatest players of your generation, an outstanding leader who captains his club to three consecutive premierships.
Imagine being so highly thought of that upon retirement your club appoints you as coach.
You inherit an ageing list, win a final in your first year and take a gamble to replenish the list which doesn't pay off.
You get sacked and ridiculed. Would be easy to crawl away and lick your wounds or retire to the media. However you still think that you're cut out to be a coach so you become an assistant for seven years and take every opportunity to learn, better yourself and prepare yourself for when the opportunity arises.
Do you think that we have the right man at the helm?

Just a random thought... recently aomeone posted about some Carlton merch online that was on special (thanks, whoever that was. Now have a new Tshirt and rain jacket). And there's the Bruce Doull T shirt. Would it make sense to have a merch thread to keep track? Obviously, Carlton shop would be stickied, but just thinking....
