Cripps has carried this club for years. Is still above average for a midfielder and elite for clearance.

Plus he has been spending way more time up forward.

He isn't the problem and his effort is there.

Not blaming him, I think it was instilled in him from the Murphy and Simpson types who acted like they were carrying things but were really just in self-preservation mode for most of their careers.

everyone hates us but it it's telling to see how little respect we have amongst players from other teams.

It’s not about having “a good year”. The whole club has had a shyte year.

It’s about giving it your best despite your poor form or the teams’ poor form.

But Margaret is the club...we all are. We make it what it is with our voices and memberships.

It's so easy for people to forget that. Footy can be choked of life just like the music industry was when it got taken over by idiots who turned it into a soft pr0n machine in the 8o's. Took away real music and started manufacturing it.

Going to the footy is already untenable for many older ones. The flashing lights and people shouting at you - filling any spaces with noise noise noise.
Having conversations about the game is not easy with your friends or family when you are bombarded.
Obviously you put up with a lot of this shite if your team is going well...but who is all the noise for?

So come round 24, there will be zero Thursday or Saturday on FTA at all.

I reckon bracket creep will see this just get worse and worse over the course of this TV deal.

Slap in the face for all those that can't afford Kayo or Fox...especially the older generation.

It also allows 7 to show the 2 games on the Sunday that count for something. The majority of viewer would want this . We have had far too much prime time this year based on our performance.

Most players have probably played their best games against us. Even when we had supposed turned a corner and started winning more than not we never really buried opponents and indeed we lost or almost lost a lot of games we should have won comfortably if we’d been more clinical.

I think it’s reasonable to form an opinion that this current group of players have shown that they lack the focus and professionalism to achieve genuine success. It makes sense as they never really been held to account. Others have been made scapegoat for their failures blaming coaches, injuries, board politics, even fans. Until now. I think Wrights decision to hold onto Voss puts the players on notice to pull their finger out. Time for them to earn some respect.
