All the talk with Judd has been about Carlton

I honestly think he'll come to Melbrourne

You have bargaining power i.e. Pick 4 and a plethora of midfielders

Trade could be something like

Johnstone + pick 4 = Judd
Bruce + pick 4 =
Mclean + pick 4 = Judd + pick 12

Would love that one but unlikely to happen

I dont want get ahead of myself but i have to say that i am really excited, i'd give anything for Judd and i honestly dont think he will go to carlton or richmond

If Judd nominates the Dees as his next home then the 2nd round pick should do unless they want to risk letting him go for nothing in the PSD.

It will be incredibly difficult getting him however it has dawned on me that someone like Chris Judd is exactly what the Melbourne Football Club needs. Some may view this as stating the complete and freaking obvious and they're half right BUT people like him, who are passionate about the club, who are willing to fight tooth and nail and bleed for the jumper is something we really lack. For all his talent, that's great, but for his heart and commitment to something that is firmly etched into his blood and his youth, that's exactly what we need. If it's true he supported the Dees (I'm not sure on this), not only will you get a bloke who gave 100% to a club he never wanted to be at playing for the one he loves, but you're guaranteed to get bigger crowds at your games. And you'll probably carve up as well.

If Carlton/Richmond/Essendon got him it would be a waste.

The number 3 he idolized as a kid is available and he can run round in the same colours and the same number as his idol Garry Lyon.

It's a once in a lifetime kind of thing for him, it's not everyday that you get to play with the same colours on your jumper and the same number on your back as your idol.

Bate, Davey, Rivers and Bell are the untouchables on that list. Personally I wouldn't let Green go, and Bruce's value must have fallen a long way this season. They wouldn't take Robbo or Yze as part of any serious trade, and that only leaves Miller who isn't much of a fit for a team who already has a wonky forward line.

If we're serious about rebuilding then Johnstone must be expendable. An extremely controversial call I know but we've got midfielders coming out the arse at the moment and he will never the superstar of the competition that he threatened to be a few years back.

Let the bottles fly.

No one is untouchable when you can get Judd. Everyone is up for trade fullstop!

Bullshit. The obsession with dropping everything just to get him is sad. If there's a workable deal then take it but if it means ending up with a great midfield and no attack or defence then count me out.
