I know it's easy to say in hindsight, but you should never have been worried. It's as good as unheard of for a player of his level coming out of a first contract to move between clubs within Melbourne, and we know he's not a risk to move interstate.

Khamis is certainly signed for 2020 (currently says 2019). As I said earlier, I can't find anything on the internet to confirm but it appears most likely that he was given a 2 year deal initially which expires at end of 2020.

Not sure where that's from (it looks like maybe the AFL website?), but Khamis can't already be a senior list player because that would have meant we held 41 senior players in 2020, when the limit was 40. He must have been temporarily 'upgraded' in 2019 (required for a cat B to be able to play) but remains a cat B rookie.
