So, who's still a fan of Maxwell? I hope that some day he will learn to play consistently to his undoubted ability.

Best batsman in the world, has been for a number of years to.I haven't seen the innings, but AB is clearly without peer. Have loved watching the guy bat for a number of years. He just makes it look so easy.

I wanted to ask the commentators in the first test (which of the mitches pitches the six stitches on the pitches with the least glitches.
Some of the bowling was just out & out ordinary though. Gone are the days of the West Indies conveyor belt of great bowlers.16 sixes.... what an innings
Um... No.And none of our Hawks players have said the same thing regarding a clear free kick, or other test bowlers when they feel a wicket has been denied?
Pete Handscomb with a cracking innings tonight in the bbl to get the stars over the line. Big future ahead of him at state level, but hopefully internationally!
He learnt that from me when we used to open the batting togetherReading that Handscombe is the 'best young player of spin in Australia'. Certainly bats like a quality player from what I've seen.
.He learnt that from me when we used to open the batting together.
But seriously, he is very light on his feet and looks to come down to spin all the time. Similar to how Clarke and Smith play spin. I see him eventually taking a middle order batting position in the test side (hopefully after another 1-2 bumper years of shield cricket) - Has 348 runs from 4 innings so far this season including 2 centuries.
He has the technique to bat up at 3, but given the way he plays spin I think he would make an ideal 4-6 especially early in his career.
Sadly he doesn't keep that often anymore I don't think. Wade has the duties for victoria, and I believe he doesn't keep at district level for st kilda. What's his keeping like?
I posted this comment to cricinfo just then and they published it in the commentary.I wanted to ask the commentators in the first test (which of the mitches pitches the six stitches on the pitches with the least glitches.

When was the last time there was 7 players in the national side from one state?
How about them Windies? A mere shadow of the team they were 20 years ago.How 'bout them Irish?
Looks like a No Result coming for the Aussies tomorrow!Give the world cup in being hosted in this country I can't believe the lack of coverage on FA and in the news generally.
Clarke and Watson yesHope they leave Clarke , Watson & Maxwell over there
So anyone still watching the world cup? Was a great match against the sri lankans. Maxwell is coming good at the right time. Clarke and Smith all class. Even Watson made runs.
What is clear though is Starc is now our best one day bowler. How did that happen?? His yorkers are the best in the world. Bowls pretty much full tilt for all 10 overs. Great to watch!
