Crowd was like a grand final. Im gutted tonight tho after another fade out to this scum team. My pain is eased somewhat after laying $100 on them to win at $5 at half time. :thumbsu:

Forget one poster to ruin a thread. Lets get back on track.

The crowd was my favourite aspect for the day. 60k Richmond supporters, at least. Loved having the supporters in bays too. Ads to the experience.

The AFL does the countdown really well. That one minute to go with the daunting music and frames of players is very good. The anticipation from the crowd adds to the experience.

The roar when the Tigers came out was simply incredible. I hate to say this for anyone who wasn't there, but I took a video of them coming out and have watched the replay on channel 7 and it doesn't match the experience live whatsoever.

Richmond coming out, the national anthem and that one minute prior to bounce was amazing.

And the goals were great too. Especially Ivan's.

Just amazing. Loved it.

Crowd was ridiculous and think we outnumbered them fairly easily. Only thing I was disappointed about was we didn't seem to kick many great goals. Apart from dustys and maybe cotch's on half time the others were free kicks or set shots so the roar wasnt as loud as it could have been. If the roles were reversed and we had come back like Carlton and kicked great goals like they did I think it would have been that loud I wouldn't have been able to hear for the next week. Oh well....next year ;)

When we ran out onto the ground, that was intense and I almost shed a tear, was electric.

Glad I'm not the only one. When the boys were standing together in the huddle in front of the cheer squad I nearly shed a tear. All the emotions & memories from the last five years just flashed before my eyes and I felt a bit teary. Just wish the boys got up, but I'm still proud. It's been a tough & long road but that will just make it so much better when we finally achieve what we set out to do!!!

What I do like is a great rivalry, one of the very best has been rekindled, great for the game and the fans

I think so. As much as we may dislike one another, you wouldn't want it any other way.

Bring on round 1 next year..........................and bring the crowd also.
