wtf

WAT THE ****ING ****

that was drop dead ****ing amaazing

wat the fudge

eveyrthing

the PLOT...wow, the acting,t he action, the suspense

Impeccably acted, morally complex and crafted with across-the-board technical virtuosity...emerges fully formed as an American crime-movie classic.

2.5 hours - was nothing

best shit ive seen in a while

Saw it at a premiere last night, and my God it kicked arse on so many levels.

It was ridiculously better than Batman Begins, and our Heath has a huge say in that.
He is nothing short of incredible in it and steals the show. If he does not win an Oscar for it then it will be a big injustice.

Can't wait to see it again.

9.5 out of 10.

Thanks to your bosses Nick I was there last night too.

I am hugely biased as I am an avid Batman fan, but that was as good a film as I have seen in a long while. Ledger does steal the show:thumbsu:

Was amazed at the security at the premiere though. All mobiles were taken as we went in and then security came in during the film looking for recording devices:eek:

9.9 out of 10:thumbsu:

I would venture to suggest that if the Two Face effect looked a bit overly cartoony it was probably in the spirit of keeping the movie within PG-13 territory.

I thought it was pretty good, 3/5. Ledger was a beast, what an iconic performance to go out on.

Sydney mother Laurina took her 8-year-old son to the movie as a school holiday activity and left the cinema highly disturbed by the violent scenes, and felt the movie was inappropriately rated.

"I'm horrified, this movie is rated M and I almost feel it's heavier than an R rated film. I had to cover his eyes and talk to him throughout to cover some of the dialogue.

"I mean these companies market Lego products to children like my son. This movie should definitely be rated higher. We're going to go and get some sunshine and go somewhere happier!"

Her son, who she didn't want to name, walked out of the film visibly shaken and said he "had a headache."

"I don't want my friends to see it, he said. "It's ugly"
You soft pack of idiots. A) Harden the **** up. B) WTF did you expect you stupid woman. Had you not seen the trailers? The scar carved across Heaths face? Did you expect Ceaser Romero? Stupid bitch.

You know, M still does mean over 15. It means it isn't a kids movie. It's just unlike MA15+ they can't/don't have to ask for ID.

What a bloody idiot. It's obvious it's not a kids movie for crying out loud.

I took my two boys as we are on holidays on the Gold Coast. I kept expecting it too go all "Hollywood" and squib it - it never did. Christian Bale adds the necessary amount of Hamlet to the role.

I can remember the thread on this Board when it was first announced that Heath Ledger had been chosen as the new joker 99% of people (including me) shit canned the idea. How wrong we were - his acting was magnificent.

One of the best comic book adaptions ever - and Michael Caine is great as the macho Alfred

ohh man i cant wait to see this, im going on friday at 8pm tho, i can only imagine it will be sold out.

and the queue. best be getting there early?
You'll want to get there about 7.20, 7.30. Or else there's a good chance you'll be stuck in shit seats. Better to be safe than sorry, especially with a session at a prime time like that.

lol i came at 11am today, all sessions from 6pm onwards were full

gotta pre-book for those times mate

i still love how heath ledger makes that pencil disappear

KILLdembatmanz!
OH MY ****ING GOD! That was SIIIIICK! It really set the pace for the character. Always planning. Always thinking. So diabolical.

I don't know where to start. First of all, I'm what you would call a casual Batman fan. I have enjoyed all Batman movies, but never been obsessed. This movie takes it to another level. It blows my mind.

What I want to speak about now is Ledger's portrayal of The Joker. He's simply amazing. What a way to immortalise yourself. I cannot speak highly enough for his performance. If I hear a cynic suggesting that his performance is over-rated because of his death I will flip my ****ing lid. This role will have Ledger forever remembered as a legend who died at his peak, similar to the legacy James Dean left behind in Rebel Without A Cause.

Agreed the subtle touches like his continous licking of the wounds on his face were incredible - i wish I had've taken his career more seriously now

my brother will be picking up 4 ix at 5pm tho, i guess if its sold out by then, ill just have to wait.

A certain Chasers song springs to mind. Heath Ledger could of appeared in a scat film and it still would of been seen as a classic

While it was a good performance it wasnt exactly worth the hype. I mean he did have a pretty easy role to play and didnt do anything mind blowing. If he gets a award for it itll be a bit of a joke I think

Prepare to flip your lid. Rob Schneider could of played The Joker well. Its not really a tough gig.

So awesome. Ledger was excellent, the Batman stunts looked way better than in Begins. My only complaint would be the repugnant Maggie Gyllenhaal.

I loved Joker dressed as a nurse.. and the pencil bit. Also batpod wall-turn.

Very, very solid movie. I'd give it 8/10. However not as broundbreaking as half the people who see it will say - (but most of them will have made up their minds before they've seen it anyway).

Heaths performace however, is brilliant. He owns every scene he is in and just leaves you hoping that he'll be in the next one. Completely crazy. He transforms into something else.

The film itself is good. Heath is amazing.

That's pure bullshit. I'd rate this equal if not better then Jack's portrayal of the Joker in the older version of Batman. Rob Schneider couldn't have played one of the Rotweilers in this film!

Leadger was ****ing awesome in this movie, alive of dead I'd be saying the same thing about Heaths performance. His dedication to mastering this role was unbelieveable, he spend a month living by himself in a hotel room to perfect the Jokers posture, voice and persona. Based off the Sex Pistols Sid Vicious and Malcolm McDowell from the movie, A clockwork Orange.

Im serious. Licking yourself and talking like a douchebag isnt good acting. Probably proves good directing more then anything.

then you should have paid more attention to all his manerisms. the voice, the licking, the way he moved. Everything he did was just spot on. And if you think that was an easy character to play, **** off. He wasn't just a generic screaming axe murderer. He stole every scene he was in and and others have said he died at his peak. :thumbsu:

That movie, just awesome. Seeing it again friday :)
