Alright, what sort of desserts do you like to have after dinner? My usual basic after-dinner fare is either yoghurt or nata de coco (coconut fibre in this sweet syrup), but after bigger dinners I'd go for custards, cake, gelato, creme caramel, creme brulee or puddings of various kinds 
Such desserts are often best complimented by dessert wines, which may be anything from late harvest/botrytis (Noble One, Saturernes, Tokaji, etc.), fortified (e.g. Port, Madeira, Sherry, Muscat) or even made from sun-dried grapes (e.g. Vin Santo). Anything like that should mates beautifully with desserts or strong cheese, which another fine after-dinner solution
