The difference today....

Will support the boys through thick and thin and contrary to some posts on here (and usually those posted 5 mins after a loss) I feel we are making good progress in 2008 and were unluck to lose.

I felt there were a few major problems that may have cost us the game today. Noticed one in particular hadn't been mentioned in any thread (at least those I had read)....namely:

1) Scotland's disposal - uncharacteristic but stood out like dogs knackers today. There were a couple of occassions where turnover led to Adelaide goal.

2) No accountability by our mids - gee this shi-ts me. Especially in last 5 mins - what happened to man-on-man?

3) Umpiring was disgraceful. What about Rutten's arm around Fev's neck right in front of umpire.....tosser

4) Fisher not being able to hold his feet - I'm sure he's playng with mocco's the amount of time's he slips over or loses his feet.


Anyhow - let's hope we can bring it home with a wet sail over the next few weeks....

spot on with number 4. Kills me when he goes to groud 1 v 1 on the wing. Easy win for opposition.....overall game wassnt bad today however. Hes been much better last couple.

Jamo has had a sensational season and whenever we have had a problem with a forward he has gone on to them and done the job. Had an absolute stinker today and in the end the ball just kept finding his opponents.

Has had a great year and you just accept players have those days.

Poor disposals, skill errors, lack of awareness. And that too from some of our senior players. But unfortunately this has always been the case at Carlton over the last few years and yet we have people on here willing to make excuses for this crap.

At the game i thought he was fine. it seemed to be moran with either thornton or aussie on him that was making the difference for me.

Why do you keep repeating the same thing over and over? It's embarrassing. People will always support different players regardless of what you think of them. You mumbling on like a ******ed duck and running fellow supporters down is not going to change anything. Give it a rest ffs, you're clogging the board and frankly adding zero. Ummm, you can't win em all. It's that simple.

Young, developing sides will have ups and downs. Yesterday was a bit of a down day. IT HAPPENS.

Last week was something out of the box - chasing down the 2nd-on-the-ladder side and overrunning them for a comfortable win. Be happy about that, but don't expect it every week at this stage of the team's development.

This year has been along the lines of LLLWLWLWLWLWLWLWLWL, so we'll probably bounce back and smash the wharfies to bits. You vic-based bastards will be able to see it first hand. Look forward to it.
