Really hope Ken tries to play Finlayson in a Westhoff type utility role next season. Has all the traits for it.

Bloody strong team on paper - I'd rather play Burgoyne in the best 22 than DBJ but we all know DBJ has a platinum coated gold pass at this point. Expecting Boak to spend more time forward as well. Small forward even with the addition of Rioli is lacking depth.

I think small forward won’t be as much of an issue, especially if we land Rioli & Fantasia plays at least 17-18 games. We will have Rozee, Butters & JHF who can all rotate/rest through the forward line and kick goals. Powell-Pepper/coaches surely know he’s mainly a forward now & he works on his snaps in the off-season (if he can nail them, he will be an absolute weapon in the forward 50)

And then there’s the GOAT McIntee….

. Rotate him through the midfield with Rozee, Butters, Boak and Wines.

I liked what Powell-Pepper was doing up forward, but as point of difference/dynamism, I'd put Rioli as the other half-forward. Fantasia on the bench for when Powell-Pepper goes into the midfield to replace Wines and Ollie needs a rest, or for when Rioli needs a break.

Dixon and Marshall are our starting key forwards, with Georgiades the third tall. Play Finlayson off the bench to give those three + Lycett a chop out when needed.

Across the middle, I’ve got Duursma, Wines and Bergman (who replaces Amon). The other three in the midfield are Lycett, Boak and Rozee. Butters on the bench.

Lastly, in defence, we have Aliir moving to full back and Ratugolea (if we get him) playing centre half back - want these two to swap and share playing the loose intercept marking target and the lock down one on one defender. Surround them with Jonas, Burton, Houston and Byrne-Jones. Have Bonner/Burgoyne on the bench.
