Tigers have an advantage here but have tough opponents.

If they lose to the cats but knock off the swans well done to them.

The thing about Richmond is out of all teams left they are the best at the MCG which is worrying for me

If Geelong bring their best football, Richmond are a HUGE chance to go out in straight sets. If this happens, it will be a perfect month of non Carlton related football for me. Melbourne and St Kilda missing the 8 despite everyone saying they were 2 teams on the rise and likely to finish in the top 8 (if we land Kelly plus Hopper/Crows mid, we might be half a chance to sneak into 8th next year assuming things fall our way) is the start of the perfect month (Essendon missing out would have topped it off), Collingwood signing up to two more years of Buckley and Richmond going out in straight sets.

I tipped an Adelaide-GWS grand final at the beginning of the season but both have wobbled recently. The Crows didn't impress me at all when they played us.

Would prefer the all-sorts to win this year, the franchise seems a bit out of sorts and I'm a bit over the handbags. Bloods look threatening.

Quick exits for the tuggers and bombres is top priority

I will be following Adelaide through this finals series and hope they win it, my grandfather who had always been a Crows supporter since they first joined the AFL, passed away the other week, so I will be on the crows this September in memory of him.

Ahh...sorry to hear BS, all the best

Hate to say it, but if Richmond had won those games that only Richmond could lose, they'd have finished on top of the ladder. I think they're being underestimated for the finals. That being said, they could easily lose two games that only Richmond could lose and go out in straight sets. And if that happens the proof that God exists will be incontrovertible.

May I just add I've been so happy today. A huge middle finger to Melbourne.
Agreed......their arrogance was their downfall. I hope Lewis enjoys his early holiday, just like the 3 weeks off he got for belting Cripps in the jaw.........only thing is, this holiday is gonna last until next season!!! p.s. special holiday wishes to Vince as well...........the dog!!!

Giving the third placed team home ground advantage over the second placed team speaks volumes about the AFL's love of money over integrity.
The other side of that is that Geelong would have 30,000 fans +3 umpires and 10-12 more free kicks if it was down at Kardinia Park..........and Selwood would have his head on an angle as usual and milk frees all day in front of their screaming fans..........no thanks!!!
