Murray too interested in looking pretty rather than just being effective. Marsters is a tough out but dont rate this kid too highly tbh. Probably take Grach from the first fight to beat him

Should be a good main event. Every fight has delivered tonight!

Hard to get much from that against a guy with 1 hand but clearly got sting in his shots. At 21 he'll improve rapidly you'd assume

Tszyu v Biggs in December. Hope it happens, looking forward to it

Ok so the gym i go to are close to a gym in Tarneit, and one of their guys Jyl Wright had a fight on the weekend. He's like 4-1 I think, a good quality pro from what I can tell. Anyway he won a fight on the weekend, the gym's FB page said it was a rough fight, head butts, shoulders, elbows etc "but you'd expect that when fighting an MMA legend".

Turns out the kid fought George Sotiropoulos in boxing! I mean if his MMA comeback wasn't well advised I'm not sure about this career change!

Jai Opetaia in the morning
Canelo in the arvo

Think Jai wins by stoppage. His opponent looks intimidating but very basic and beaten no one to get there. Jai will batter him late, huge step down from Briedis

Think Charlo will feel the 2 weight classes here. He might look big but people are confusing size with height. I think nelo needs a stoppage to get some hype back after the Bivol loss and looking a little lacklustre lately. Barios/Ugas a good one on the undercard

They claim Fury/Usyk is signed for December in saudi. Believe it when they're in the ring. I trust Usyk not to duck, its greedy belly thats the issue

Great stuff by Opetaia, would love it if Usyk would consider coming back down. Wouldn’t happen though, he’s got way more money fights at HW.

Canelo v Charlo a predictable shut out, weight classes for a reason etc. Really did look Charlo was there for the payday, I’m not convinced Tszyu will be next though

Charlo's already been calling for the Crawford fight in the aftermath. It really seems like he's in the cash in stage of his career and has no interest fighting a hungry, young challenger like Tim.

Opetaia looked sharp and certainly appears to have all the English experts raving about him. He looked small in there, but it was clearly a huge step up for Thompson. Hoping to see him in some competitive, big money fights going forward.

Absolutely, I'd be chasing Crawford too if I could, Tim is still getting better I feel.

Agreed, and that's not a knock on Charlo either. He's unified the belts at 154 and at 33 is still around the right age to teat himself against the best. A mandatory against a guy from half a world away with a smaller name in the US vs a multi million dollar opportunity to fight one of the pound for pound kings... it makes sense for him.
