He got a hand to the back of a Geelong players shirt and dropped/slung him to the ground with ease.

So what's the best software for making/editing gifs?

I use Photoshop, but there's probably an easier and more efficient program out there. Just google and I'm sure you'll find something, or someone here might have a better idea.

On Mac I use a little program called GIF Brewery over Photoshop.

Just makes things a little quicker.

There seems to be different flavours of Photoshop though.. Elements umm others. I've done a bit of investigoogling but it seems like one of those areas that gets murky very quickly.. kinda like car mechanics.

Elements is a separate program, you just want good old Photoshop CS6 or whatever edition they're up to these days. Plus it is a bit of a pain in the arse to just do simple gif editing with, much more useful for indepth stuff and you have to have an idea of how to use the program. Though there's a heap of tutorials on the web to pick it up.

I'm currently using Elements. Finding it pretty limiting although I'm sure there's a lot of stuff you can do with it if you can be bothered.
