Rollercoaster emotions.........away all week for work, get home to find rcd tripped out so have 2 freezers full of ruined, very smelly food.......extremely unhappy camper!! Then take a deep breath and realise I'm off to Melbs in a few hours to see us run out in our first ever Grand Final......now just so excited!!

I have to say I've never seen so many purple-wearing people in the same place in my life! It's awesome to see so many passionate footy lovers wandering the streets. They all looked very upset by the weather though!

Attempted to move heaven and earth to make the grand final, ultimately the distance to travel (30 hours) and work prevented it from happening.

Heartbroken but satisfied I did everything I could do to make it. I'll be cheering the team on from a very random location which is an experience in itself.

On a more important issue, I understand that St Vincent DePaul has urgently requested the Barnett Govt and the public provide it with funds to cope with the expected influx of requests for special assistance from the 20,0000 odd Dockers supporters who have spent their life savings and maxed their credit cards out by going to Melbourne.

So please give generously for the underprivileged.
