Yeah I saw that one in the Sunday Times too. Made no sense to me either!
 
Honestly never heard of it. And I normally back my football knowledge. Maybe it is something from the west coast of New Zealand.
 
Wasn't it "the graveyard position"? The obvious implication was that the HFF is the last position fringe players will ever get on the field at. Which I suppose could be true. Or not. But to link to another thread, this IS the Crimes we're talking about....

I love this. I especially loved it after discovering the newspaper in question was the Sunday Times. It sounded so much like he needed a hand filling in the last clue of The Times crossword.
Now it just sounds like everything is wrong.

You really shouldn't use the words "newspaper" and "Sunday Times" in the same sentence, it just confuses people.
