All we get over here in Perth are pages of Eagle crap and the odd page about the Dockers.
We were lucky to get a write up about the game we just played.

Some Journalists are for reporting facts, others are for reporting opinion.

You need to be a recognised expert with runs on the board to write a decent and respected opinion piece.

Mark Stevens is not a recognised expert in any field and has little to no runs on the board in the sense of opinion leadership, so should stick to game reports and the like.

He is getting far too ahead of himself with his attempts to write hard hitting pieces and just comes off as clumsy and negative. You can now add lazy to his trifecta of mediocrity.

I must admit that I had a chuckle when reading that acticle.

Carrys on about Goodes but completely ignores the fact we were missing Swan who had been in great form on and off the field.

So Tarrant may have played v Syd last time. A simple mistake by Stevens.
So he thinks we will not be able to keep all our players. I think most people would agree with him (I would be staggered if we didn't lose anyone).
So he said that if Adam Goodes had have had his normal impact, Sydney would have won. He is a dual Brownlow medallist and was well down on his usual output. And we only won by 8 points. He is probably pretty close to the mark.

Why do you all take everything written about Collingwood in the media so personally..?

Saying if someone had played better a team wouldve won is loser talk.

If they want to play the IF game we can do that too, if the last time we played swans we didn't have daisy go down in the first qtr, if we had swan play, if we had Luke ball and if we had krak we would've won by more than 8pts.
