Every week we witness Richmond evolve, on field and off. Throughout the past few years I think everyone is guilty of running a line through someone's name...and proven wrong.

This thread is to say sorry, sorry to anyone at Tigerland that you doubted. I'll start first.

1. Angus Graham - Thought you were a list clogger, even made a post where I hoped you got delisted at years end. How wrong I was, you have stepped up. Not only that, but you get lots of possessions and you take important marks. Good on you Gus! I'm sorry for doubting you.

2. Jake King - Thought you were a little shit, wondered why you were still on the list, but you are going well. Definitely in our best 22 and happy for your success :) I'm sorry Jake King.

3. Damien Hardwick - I was a bit sad you became our coach. I wanted Wayne Campbell or Kevin Sheedy, but looking back now, you have not made one mistake as coach. I'm sorry Dimma, we are in a better place now than we have been for 8-9 years.

Your turn :thumbsu::)

I'm Sorry  to edwards & McGuane.

I believe in McGuane now!!!!

Go Mac Guaneeee!!

I love king, not because of his footy skills, because he starts fights all the time (makes me laugh, entertaining, AFL lacks that at times) and sticks up for his mates!!!!:thumbsu:

Amen to that! He has stepped up in the last 6 - 8 weeks and I love the ball in his hands in any situation.

I'm sorry for 2 things...

1.The naughty things i did to Martin and Collins in my dreams last night, i may be turning a little bit, you know.... :D

2. Thinking that Ben Cousins was well and truly past it. He is not the same player as a few years ago, but the kids on the team have so much respect for him. When Collins kicked that goal, he was over the moon, then Cousins said something to him and his face went to ecstatic. To hear praise from Cousins means more to those kids then i think we realise. Not only that, but he has lifted his game to be a really good player well in the top 22.

I think thats it.

I never doubted Jake King. I want him on the list still or Angus Graham.

I'm sorry i wanted to keep an in house coach while we were winning midseason last year eg Wallace then Rawlings
I was just worried about having another 5 years like the last 25 years and picking an unknown coach who didn't know the list worried me. But I couldn't be happier with Hawdwick. He's doing everything right :thumbsu:

Sorry to Edwards, boy have you stood up this year!

I am happy to see people giving Newman the recognition he deserves. I have always been a massive fan of this guy and he has copped a lot of flack on this board. Well done Chris, you are a champion and deserve the captaincy. :thumbsu:

I’m sorry Shane Edwards, I thought that you were just another one of Terry’s bantamweight brigade of recruits, and that you were a total turnover merchant. However over the off season you seem to have added about 175% to your bodyweight, and are gradually becoming an above average decision maker. I now actually like seeing the ball in your hands. Shane Edwards, I’m sorry.

I’m sorry Jack Riewoldt, early in the year I thought you were going ok, but agreed with Dimma’s comments that you’re a 3rd tall playing as a lone target, and you should get a pass because of it. You’re clearly capable of being the number one man, and I regret doubting your abilities by thinking you were only a decent prospect. I’m also sorry that footy shows and venue management keep using Nick’s name instead of yours. Jack Riewoldt, I’m sorry.

I’m sorry Damien Hardwick, I didn’t see the above message for what it was, a bit of good old fashioned reverse psychology to get a rocket up Jack, and get him performing like a star. I’d also like to apologise for Richmond not sacking Wallace 2 years ago, and getting you the job sooner. Damien Hardwick, I’m sorry.

If Jake King & Matt White keep improving like they have been, I may issue apologies to them later in the year too.

im sorry Vickery! last couple of games has stepped up as has most players. he may still run around like he's got a carrot up there but has filled in some important holes here and there and also grabbed a couple of goals because of it

im sorry edwards! looks like his confidence has finally arrived and taking the game on headon. i had this bloke delisted for sure at seasons start - not anymore!!

im sorry Mcguane and Thursfield for last saturday night. if it hadnt been for a totally wrong umpire decision against Thursfield would have held Fev to zero goals, an awesome turn around from previous games against him.
well done guys and hopoefully mcguane wont be sidelined for long!

I have to say sorry to Mitch Farmer, i said he should never play again at around round 3 after i seen him do some pretty stupid things. But almost since that game he has started to do some things to show that he can be a solid player for us.

He is one of my mate's wife's old boyfriend too lol.m (if that makes sense).

Also to Lids, i think i said he was playing lazy at the start of the year but he has shown that was just a slow start to the season coz he has killed it and should have another B&F.

And finally Tambling, you are a spud.. please make me say sorry for that in a few weeks!

Same here re Vickery.

Heard on SEN earlier that McGuane will be ready after the split round.

What do you mean? In terms of stopping his opponent, Thursfield has been our best all year, except for when he ended up on Milne for a while.

i was more or less sorry that a umpire decision cost them a goaless fev! which would have been big news being his 200th game and the amount of times he's torn us apart.

not at all looking at either one of there performances over the year and i have rated these guys for a long time now!

I'll add an apology to the captain as well. Last year I was thinking he was the worst candidate in the team. Looking back now it may have had something to do with his relationship with the coach. He has blossomed under Dimma.

He turned me around against Hawthorn in round 8 and hasn't looked back. he has been doing all things a captain should (in the mould of a Harley as opposed to a Judd) and it's no surprise the kids are playing for him.

I will say though, he gets a lot of help and leadership from number 32.....

I have to think hard on this one because I don't remember actually saying I want to see anyone delisted. So I will say sorry to Goose for getting so frustrated at him playing like a goose while he was still developing and had tanny wallet and joke LOLings as a coach.

Sorry to pup for saying he can't kick straight and needs to improve (it was true though and he has improved) I was impatient with these two guys.

I'm sorry to the Richmond board, I figured you would specialize in failing for the next 20yrs as you have done in the past 20.
Well done on picking Hardwick and Gale. For the first time I can remember our kids and struggling players are gaining skill and confidence at a remarkable rate.
For the first time in a long time, we are heading in the right direction!!!
