A mate of mine is heading overseas at the end of the year for a three month secondment. Both of us are massive Cats fans and head to every game together. It is obviously disappointing that he is going to miss the start of the season, Tomahawk's debut etc etc, but to ensure that the memory of the Cats remains at the forefront of his time away from home we have decided to incorporate a bit of a challenge into his trip.
We have always commented on how you see blokes in foreign countries wearing the Aussie Rules jumpers of their favorite teams. Essendon seems to be the most popular.
Well out of respect for the GFC and the great man Jarad Rooke, we have devised the Jarad Rooke challenge. The challenge involves my mate taking photos of himself in famous places around the world proudly wearing the #33 on his back. Our thoughts are that it will be a bit like the Oral B ad, where you never see the Dentists face, only his back.
The challenge involves me setting my mate a list of famous places where I would like to see the great #33 around the world. Varying levels of difficulty will be used with higher points scored for the most obscure photos.
For example
Kick to Kick in Central Park is not that big a deal, but a photo in the dressing rooms of the New York Jets post game with the great #7 B.Graham would receive maximum points because it is alot harder.
Thinking about starting up a website and sharing the photos and the list, and crossing off as he goes along.
So I am calling on the big footy board for some further ideas. Where would you like to see the great #33. The trip will be through New York, Vegas, Miami, most of Europe and Thailand.
Some food for thought so far
Anyway you get the picture.

- Las Vegas Strip club with a face full of ...
- Kick to Kick in Central Park
- Photo in the Jets dressing rooms with Ben Graham
- Ping Pong Show Thailand
- Poker table at MGM Grand, Caesars Palace and Bellagio
- Kick to Kick at Ground Zero
- Standing in front of those Pommy security guards at Buckingham Palace (I think)
Anyway you get the picture.
