172* what a legend, but i do find it amusing how suddenly everybody loves him again, hopefully S Clark never plays again instead of Dizzy, it is an insult to the great man

Its great to see everyone backing him again and it is annoying seeing everyone who bagged him get back on board but its equally as annoying seeing all the people who have continually backing him, gloating and acting as if they contributed to his comeback.

This isnt an appreciation thread for the people who stuck by him, because if it was I would be somewhere near the top ;) :D

Haha go the Diz man!

Only like about 3-4 of the Aussies, and this guy is a GUN.

Yeh but lets be truthful here, a lot of people on this board bagged him, because he deserved a bagging, now he is playing well, all be it against Bangladesh. But please if you are saying he didnt deserve a bagging during the ashes, then you are kidding.

Im not saying he didnt deserve a bagging, his dropping from the side was warranted. He did cop alot though, especially after the series and was made a scapegoat, people were saying he is washed up etc etc.

The people in the know, particulary the supporters of the Redbacks knew this was not the case so from a fan of Dizzy's and a continual backer of his it is very pleasing to see him do well.

What annoys me is the people who seem to want it be known that they were a bigger backer of his etc etc, just seems rather childish. Be pleased he is doing well but there is no need to brag and gloat.

i dont want to gloat - im just very happy he's bounced back. and you cant tell me that if you were proven right, you wouldnt be happy???

there is a couple who shall rename nameless that I want to gloat at but I cant really untill the ashes this year is finsihed

186 not out at lunch, just the 14 more runs and we will see a truelly remarkable double hundred.

I wish lunch would hurry up and finish, I am licking my lips to see this 200 if Dizzy makes it.

Gillespie scored 84 runs in the first session. He used to known for his defence. Now he's known for his cover driving.

200 for Dizzy. Maybe its just the euphoria speaking, but you are the greatest ever Australian. I love life.

When will he be knighted?

Declared!!!! Another triple hundred nipped in the bud.
