If you want to see what the Kangaroo's problems are just watch the last five minutes.

Unaccountable footy - spiritless - they just gave up.

Several kicks long to a leading forward spilt and no crumbers - NO CRUMBERS! Two goals late lost that way.

If Sav is attempting a contested mark why wouldn't the pockets, flankers or rovers be feeding off the crumbs?

Dear oh dear!

We haven't had a decent crumber since Winston Abraham.

And just to save somebody else from posting it, that Davey bloke at Melbourne goes alright.

Watching Laids do the media conferene he said we should and could have won this game. He is right.

Huge improvement but look at the last five minutes. We went back to the way we played last few weeks.

Yeah, how I miss Winston & Fruity.
And how Aaron Davey was let slip thru is unforgiveable. 2 years ago when asked about Harding vs Davey, I heard Laidley say, "The proof will be in the pudding." Well Dean, this pudding tastes like sh$t.

Bit harsh mate, Harding has been good this year.

Harding has been OK this year - you can see a genuine improvement in him from middle of last year.

But Davey remains the biggest recruiting mistake at the Kangas for the last 20years. Blind Freddie could see his potential and Stibbard, our recruting expert, was a big fan. Seems Laids was the one who wasn't convinced.

This one will haunt us for the next ten years.

Stop the WINNIE talk you’re all getting me excited!

Bring back Winnie!

He’d only be 30-31 now and would be a better crumber to North at the moment then what we’ve got.

Listen to Carey; if you want contested marking back then bring back the Lincoln. :thumbsu:

But seriously I've said it before and I'll say it again Sansbury can CRUMB play him as a small forward. Add Wells and Harding and play Swallow in the midfield and North would have an awesome crumbing brigade.

Should've and could've. We played better but we still lost. And we didn't lose it in the last five minutes, although they were pretty ordinary. We lost it in the 3rd quarter.

I can accept this lost opportunity stuff if we lost a close one, but let's face it, they cruised across the line 4 or 5 in front.

Had we kicked straight, had we not fallen ontop of them and given away silly frees, had we hit targets, but we didn't.

I'd be happy if we 'sacrificed' Boomer. Take him out of the midfield and make him our designated forward pocket and crumber. We get the ball in there as much as anyone else - just need to do more with our opportuntities.

Open's up a spot for a youngster in the midfield. Kill 2 birds with one stone I say.

Actually, the quote was about Shane Harvey vs Davey. But yeah, the pudding tastes like crap.

Yep, I'd be happy with that. Harvey in the forward line would make opposition defenders think twice. But right now, they know they can run out of defence without worrying too much since the blokes chasing them will be three talls.

Even if the coaching staff felt that Harvey was still better suited to the midfield, they should give Sansbury a run there. DF's jokes about his 5 SANFL Grand Final goals aside, give him a run there. Tell him to not worry about his opponent, but let the opponent worry about him.
