Thought it was hine keeping him out of the team this year. At the moment greenwood should have been in the team ahead of him.

Hine should be looked at as a potential replacement for Atley if we do decide to push him to a wing or midfield. He has the defensive attributes and a nice turn of pace. He needs to work on his kicking but it may be easier for him with the game in front of him.

Right now we have Ziebell, Greenwood, Cunners, Wells, Basti and Jacobs as our centre square options which looks like a fairly decent group. Add Swallow back in halfway through next year too.

The bloke is a true Shinboner. The way he goes about his game (hardness, determination) deserves comparisons to the greats like Arch, Stevo, Simpson etc.

as a levi critic am happy to acknowledge great improvement in his disposal
and sure he has developed an all round game that I didn't think he was capable of

Love reading all these 'good that he worked on his disposal before he came back ' etc posts.. If you look at his de% from back then, it's actually not that bad. He always went hard at it.

He was played incorrectly as a tagger, and dropped before he could ever get going.

Now he's played as a ball hunter, shock horror, he's doing well!

Cunners etc are benefiting just as much from Levi as he is from them. So don't sell him short. He should have always been in the side, in this role, and thank god he is now.

As has been repeatedly stated, the reasons Levi is back in the squad are that he no longer pays scant attention to stoppage set ups and as such is not a structural liability at AFL level and the team as a whole is a much more mature defensive unit hence he can be released from a tagging role.

Levi has never had an issue finding the pill but he has become a much more rounded player during his time at VFL level. He has even said so himself.
