I'd rather listen to Daisy Pearce than almost any of the knuckleheads that pop up in the media. It's obvious she knows and loves the game and isn't there a token female representative. Mel Jones on the Big Bash coverage is similarly impressive.

Between the blokes who obviously don't pay any attention to non-Victorian teams, and the Freo hating hacks (yes you Dunstall), it's hardly worth watching any of the main stream footy shows. Talking Footy is a shadow of what it was, and Footy Classified is saddled with Hutchy and Matthew LLoyd. Even when we were contenders we got scant recognition. Special mention to David King who is definitely a student of the game and gives credit when it's due.

TBH you get better commentary in here than you do in the media.

I see the Eagles copped some shocking Eddie bias on Saturday. I was cringing with the appalling pro Vic bias as i was cheering on the Blues. Almost as bad as press red for Ed.

I had a bit of a crack at Goss on twitter last week & he suggested that our lack of coverage is down to the club limiting access. Sounds like an excuse to me, they never seem to be short of a story on the Egirls.

Since the sexual harrassment allegations surfaced the club has decreased media access.

I'm guessing that will change now that it's derby week.

Interesting response to Glendinning Medal on 6PR. An unlikely supporter to Freo in Hagdorn. He actually supported the decision by FFC. Said Glendinning worked at the club for two years part-time and was sacked by Chris Connelly. I was pretty happy because everyone else had been negative.

Unfortunately Gareth Parker gave a very biased opinion in his morning show.
