As someone from the area all I'll say is Perth flogs who can't drive and can't surf descend on our town every holiday period with a sense of entitlement greater than a newborn royal child. If we're bell ends, the Perth mob has got us covered by a country mile ;)
Yeah. Kooks suck..pissed at ch7 going for the throat as usual.

First I saw of it was ABC perth, from the get go they were reporting that he had permission to be in the area and didn't break any social distancing rules.

We can all choose what sources we follow to get our news.

At the end of the day channel 7 is only worth the oxygen we give it.

Thought the police commissioner announcing an investigation into Fyfe's conduct was a good laugh, only to clear him a few hours later.

Yet Ben cousins swimming across the swan river, Liam Ryan & many other incidents were suppressed or minimized by club, media & police..
Latest that we know of was the why is everyone picking on rioli 😂

Doesnt beat the umps in the gf.

The 50 by rosebury against Luke
The non call on the deliberate against Hodge by Nicholls
The failure by the umpires to see Lakes elbow to Walters ( yes i know he kicked the goal but still)

Norm Smith and 3 week suspension. Doesn't add up. Really shows the ineptitude and bias of the umpires that day.

Calm the farm on Fremantle Dockers captain Nat Fyfe’s South West surf, writes Mark Duffield

Despite complaints from affronted folk in the Margaret River region, police have confirmed Fremantle captain Nat Fyfe was in the clear after being pictured heading for a surf.
Fyfe found himself at the centre of media scrutiny on Thursday which went all the way to Police Commissioner Chris Dawson.
The story had bubbled around for several days and gone nowhere until Mr Dawson gave it life with the magic words: “We will investigate”. Premier Mark McGowan quickened the pulse by adding that it wasn’t a good look.
So after an exhaustive investigation which took about two hours, police accepted the explanation Fremantle had been offering from the time the Fyfe surf “scandal” first emerged.
Fyfe had an exemption from travel restrictions between regions. He was working for his father’s transport business and was carting lime from a quarry near Margaret River and had taken the opportunity to go surfing while there. Those familiar with Fyfe’s history would not have been surprised he was using downtime in the AFL shutdown to help his father.
He regularly spends part of his off-season driving for his dad and has always been closely involved in the business. Back in 2009 when Fyfe was drafted and we tried to contact him, he was out helping to cart a truck-load of grain at Lake Grace. Most kids taken in the same draft were whooping it up at draft parties that afternoon.
Commissioner Dawson said the spirit of the isolation laws demanded that people apply common sense.
This virus is a sinister threat but common sense needs to apply to people blowing the whistle too. This was one person, surfing with one friend at one isolated beach, even before his reasons were established.

Anyone else see the Fox footy season simulation predictor - has us finishing dead last but Carlton finishing fourth... Baffles me. Also Adelaide as massive sliders and Pies a massive drop.

Thanks for posting this meaningless endeavor but I wouldn’t click on that article even if we were in the middle of a pandemic and all footy was cancelled.
