I love Tabs. I don’t understand why he has haters. I doubt there is a player more important to our finals hopes than the big fella and if his career trajectory continues the way it is going we will be in for a treat this year. He wasn’t as naturally talented as Hogan, McCarthy, Matera or Dixon but he’s outlasted all of them because he’s squeezing every last bit of potential out of himself. He’s the epitome of hard work and dedication and I’m glad to hear he wants to play out his entire career in purple.

Point 2 you are correct. I’ve read that from Freo a number of times. SHill was drafted in 2008 - first season 2009. My research some time ago indicated that after JLo retired at the end of 2007 he was down at West Perth 2008/9 in a development coaching role. So I guess you say he worked at the same workplace as JLo (WPFC) in 2008. In 2010 JLo did a year with Fremantle under Harvey where he worked again with SHill at the same workplace. But never did he play alongside SHill as a team mate. Drives me nuts when I read Freo say former team mates Walters and SHill. Mundy was a former team mate not SHill and not Walters.

JLo ended up playing more WAFL league games for South Fremantle than he did for West Perth because of the Dockers/SF alignment when he was drafted. My memory is that he won the 1st Foundation Day Medal in a SF vs EF derby - but not sure if that award still exists.

Forgive me if its been discussed already but is Tim Gossage just covering for Haze on sports talk or is it a permanent appointment? And before anyone mentions I shouldnt bother listening to 6PR im in the car for an hour each night getting home from work and need something to pass the time. Im not tech savvy enough to podcast and I have an old car without digital radio etc.

Getting back to Gossage. He literally does my head in. He was ranting and raving like a maniac last night about social distancing and sporting fixtures with Karl. He's unbearable. And that laugh and high pitched voice makes me cringe... Please tell me its only short lived...!

Not that I watch a lot of the news but I was happy that he got punted last year. I make no apologies for that.

Well. This is quite an exciting read. I know he finished 3rd in the Doig and is tracking nicely, but hopefully this is Cerra's real breakout year.

"But at this stage his role will be minutes inside as a midfielder and being one of our starting mids every week.

"We rate him really highly as an inside midfielder."

I think the 6pr Sportsday program is Croc Media content. There's some relationship with Croc/SEN and 6pr where they can broadcast that content into rural WA, but things might have changed with the ownership of 6pr since they first did that deal.

During the football season Haselby and Gossage broadcast via SEN the same games that Langdon & Co cover for 6pr content.
