Surprising fact I heard today, Norf haven’t lost to anyone below them on the ladder this season. Not as bad as I thought they were.

Can you get a 10? By SuperCoach and AFL player ratings it seems to be in the top half dozen games of the year. Better than anything Gawn or the Bont have done this year. Parrish and Stringer have both had 1 game with a better rating.

Stats aren’t everything but it was a huge game.

Someone did get a 10, but I can't remember when it was or whether it was a Freo or WC player.

Yeah exactly what Joey (and Dixon) was saying, along with showing the improvement of a few individuals (Darcy, Brayshaw, Henry etc).

King is all ego - trying to turn himself from an analysis personality into someone like Gerard Healy. But he’s resulting in more like Kane Cornes and Robbos love child.

He's hardly Nostradamus if he's proved right. We're still on the up and for the most part beating the teams around and below us. I dont understand why he keeps singling us out.

100% agree with this. We could be in such a better position. But would we take 8-8 and sitting 7th after round 16 if offered it at the start of the year? Most would say yes, as it’s above preseason expectations.

But King deriding us for ‘underperforming’ is ridiculous unless the expectations were higher (they were not - none of the fox ‘experts’ had Freo predicted for the 8).

We will probably fail at making the 8 because of our early flops - but it’s nice to still be in the hunt.

Here’s hoping we can get some scalps, make the 8 and do a late season charge leading into a strong tilt at 2022. It’s happened before, from teams in our position many times over.
