The mod positions - POSITIONS FILLED

It's been a tough and busy few months for me. Having finished my uni degree, I contracted pneunomia and was hospitalised ... basically, I was at death's door and am still recovering somewhat. I've found a full time job with a decent salary, so my time on here has been very limited. So I've decided that I will not renew my position as mod for this board as I don't have the time and will not in the near future to put work into this board.

No, I'm not leaving, I'll still be posting from time to time, though not too frequently. So basically there is one mod spot up for grabs - the only question is who wants it? Please post your thoughts on the matter and if you're interested, why you think you should become a moderator.

Just asking for a show of hands. If you'd like, you could drop of a PM to either Adrian Groves or ODNs but I'd like to see some public nominations, yourself or others. Makes it so that we can all get to know our new mod a bit better.

It has been really fun modding this board, and putting some twats in line. I hope my replacement takes it on by the horns and shows his cards by doing a good job.

No more itchy fingers for me I'm afriad.

Bluesman - he's on here enough and the "oldman" would love to slap a few into line

Mojo31 - objective member of Bigfooty who has praised the action of this board's mods

Bluemike - Good poster and his new powers will enable him to remove offensive posts

Parrot - just so this Carlton supporter will actually post on the Carlton board

Mediumsizered - terrific poster who doesn't mind putting the usual suspects back into place with logic.

Thanks for the nomination Cypher I would probably be a little too keen too slap a few opposition supporters into line on our board , but i think we need somebody a bit more moderate
I too think Mojoe would make for a great mod if he has the time to spend here

For 2006 and beyond I'm looking for team board mods who'll get in and be a bit evangelistic in promoting the boards and getting things like player sponsorships running. ODNs has been great at this, and could use help with these initiatives.

So from now the job will be more than just making the place run smoothly but rolling up your sleeves and helping it grow by thinking up ways to encourage people to make this their home for Blues discussion.

Unfotunately too busy with Breakfast Radio, finishing Uni etc so I can't get on here as often as I'd like.

We'll get a good man or woman for the job I'm sure. Having looked at how other parts of the Big Footy boards interact, we have a pretty good group of people here.
