My name is blangerang and i feel that i would be perfect for this job. I enjoy long walks along the beach thinking about memorys past, my musical interests include Leo Sayer, Lionel Richie and Bernard Fanning. My favourite actors include Tony Danza, Breckin Meyer and 50 Cent. One of my favourite hobbies is to sit by the local duck pond and talk to the ducks and give them small pieces of sliced bread. Sometimes i like to just sit outside and stair at the stars. I can sit and stare at those pieces of gods creation for hours and hours on end. I am currently in training of being a gynocologist and am looking forward to completing my degree in this field. I am currently commited to a long distance relationship to a beautiful female by the name of Queen Latifah. If you are interested in employing me in this position i will muchly appreciate it.

On a separate (and more serious) note, I'm sorry to see Thrawn go. A prolific poster until recently who rarely upset anybody even when he was disagreeing with them. I'm proud to say in the Carlton moderator popularity stakes, I ran an honourable second to Thrawn who seemed to get around to every nook and cranny on BigFooty and was a popular as hell. (Let's not talk about the fact we only had two moderators).

Just reading through the thread, I am reminded of some of the good posters we have access to and who would do a great job if chosen. Naturally, I will not play favourites ... you are all my brethren .... including recent convert Jeff_Dunne who may have to change his name to Val_Perovic to maintain links with his former club.

During the summer season I do not post as much as everyone else, but I do read over ever thread on this Carlton board.

However during the season I'm on here all day - every day and I feel that I could be suitable for the moderating position.

I have been a member on here for a couple of years and my post count is in the four figures - it could be higher but I prefer not to post crap and dribble.

However I would like to nominate Cypher or Funkalicious, if they do not want a bar of it I'll be more than happy to raise my hand for the moderating job.

I remember a few months back the issue of the next Carlton mod was brought up. I think I said (jokingly) "God forbid one of our mods should go down". Given what Thrawn was about to go through, I'm actually sorry I said that. What I meant though, is that both Thrawn and ODN have done such a great job at leading us members that no-one could replace them. Honestly, you won't find more devoted and level-headed posters on BigFooty, period.

I hope your recovery continues to go well, Thrawn. You'll go down as one of the greatest Carlton moderators, I'm sure.

Well, it seems like I'm already a St Kilda supporter and you a Carlton supporter. How quickly things change.

You needn't worry about the GC conflict. You see, I have a 'blood' team and 'local' team. When the time comes, GC and BL will duke it out for 'local' team honours. But Carlton will always be my 'blood' team. And blood is thicker than water.
