Nailed the routine and only had to subtly look at my running sheet one. I also then got tipsy and met some really interesting people at the event :)
Ever tried to pick up? I've heard comics who started because of it, and it seems pretty effective

Started getting back in the gym. Been a good month in terms of motivation and actually making better choices in regards to food.
Got any mad goals?

I've been going to gym with a couple of friends lately. Helps keep me motivated.

Mainly lose weight. I Would like to drop 20kgs. I take it one day at a time and build consistency. Main thing I'm loving is the positive mindset - I find the challenges I set when running or lifting transfers into my everyday life.

This. Especially after the first few weeks when the honeymoon phase is over, having mates to go with is a really good way to stay motivated. I find it so much easier to bludge out when I'm just planning to go on my own

I did that between last year and this year. You will feel ****ing amazing when you reach that goal and have loads more energy.:thumbsu:

Walking to places rather than public transport.

To do lists

I ****ing love lists. :$

Walking to places... hmmm having had my car smashed up just before the Jan holidays I had to do this a lot for 6-7 weeks. It got old. Quick.

Car or PT all the way.

I like the list because it forces me to be productive but I'm also a bit of a completionist.

Like, if there is a number notification on top of my facebook or messenger or text message or email icon, I have this strong compulsion to clear it.

I had 60 downloaded podcasts yesterday, downloaded another 60. I was excited by the idea of having so many good podcasts stored, but also incredibly uncomfortable with having so many.

Right now, I have 20 things on my to do list. It hurts.

Im so good a procrastinating that when i make 'to do' lists i end up doing all the shit that isnt on the list

I've discovered this board whilst killing time at Singapore airport think I'll be a regular fairly quickly!

If you wanna break things off tho, that's where it gets a bit different. And $$$.

Not that will be an issue for you!

I wonder if anyone doesn't live together these days before they marry. Am assuming it is not at all common anymore.

hi hi
Married just two weeks ago and we have never lived together before

Been gymming and running for a while again now
(Pre wedding originally )
Religiously using my fitness pal love it to bits

Yeah I'm back to the gym too.

Been MIA for 1 year, so have to start at 50% of what I was lifting, so it sucks having to start all over again and looking weak at the gym

They should include a blood donation centre in hospitals, so you can go in for a quick drain when waiting for an appointment

Cross the **** out of them

One crossed out line turns into a massive amount of scribbles over the now erased note :D

I've been relatively the same weight wise all year - lose 1-2 kilos, gain them back. I havn't had a serious amount of weight gain or weight loss in almost 2 years. I am much more active than what my signature might indicate :p.

A large part of this is my diet. I'm no Shane Warne, but I do love my pizza.... and white sandwich bread and white rolls. I eat a few healthy things (snack on bananas for one). Everyone always tells me that the weight would drop off if I just stopped eating.

I used to do weight - strength and conditioning stuff, I'm more cardio exercise focused now.
