If we haven't announced our new head coach by tuesday/wednesday...makes me think the signs will point to Clarko, we wouldn't announce him Tuesday when the Hawks don't travel to Tassie until Wednesday.

Think Bass is the best bet still though.

I agree, anyone else why not announce asap. If it goes to THursday frriday, it has to be Clarko

Dew would be my best bet, followed by Bassett. But as you highlighted above, a Thursday announcement would be intriguing.

They probably want to release the panel together..
I'm not saying it's Bassett, but if it's a rookie coach, I don't think they want to announce "here is our new rookie coach" whoever that is, without the answers to where his help will be coming from..

I think from memory it is why Mathew Robran had a tough time leaving the Hawks because of their "family" Club theme.

Did he play in the 97 GF? I know in 98 he did.

If we have always known who we wanted and if it was a current Assistant Coach There would be no reason not to announce asap

If it was a current Assistant coach I would also assume that he would want to crack in ASAP to attain as much list knowledge as possible before trade week

Finally I would have thought that if we were interviewing current Asst Coaches their current senior coaches would know and they would be endorsing them publicly

This has been the quietness Snr Coach recruitment process that I can recall

True but we have a panel of 6 to go through things, Craig went with 6 games to go in2011. Sando went less than 2 weeks ago. I'm thinking they still haven't yet spoken to all candidates fella.
