I dont think it will be this year.....

but I see tremendous ability and raw tallent in Levi!

The boy is a monster, is getting fitter each week. Has dropped 10 kg's of puppy fat since joining the club.

I really look forward to watching progress through the NAB cup, and if he plays well, maybe getting a game as a nominated rookie!

A forward line with him, Kruezer, Hampson and Waite will give opposition teams massive headaches!

For mine, he will replace Irish in the 22

Grigg was well on the way last year before injuries ruined his season. He's determined to make up for it, the way he's trained and his form in the intra-club game are proof of that. He's a good athlete, hard at it and a hard runner. If he can become a good midfielder it'll mean even more freedom for Gibbs and Murphy, which I believe is the key to our success.

Harker you're probably right about Robinson and Yarran, but I've learned not to have any expectations on players until their third season at least. They are very exciting talents though.

Agree, Robbo is a very physical player, the bigger and stronger he gets, the more benefit to the team. He's a rare blend, has parts of Hamill, Pickett etc and looks like he'll become a hell of a player. I think Yarran will be brilliant, but only once fully developed.

Who were these guys? Band name?

Yarran is the ultimate could be should be player, yet let's face it, many of us still have our fingers crossed.

I don't hold the same fears for Robbo though.
He'll be in the starting 22 come Round 1, no doubt.
Forget the "Mark of the Year" stuff, but his greatest attribute is his mental toughness and never say die attitude.
He'll come at you at full pelt with no fear for his personal well being and others already know that.
There will be no comfort levels lining up on Robbo from here on in.

Off topic: I met a couple of your Apple Islers on Friday night, who happened to be musos and modeled themselves on Sublime and Rancid.
Somehow you came to mind. ;)

Sublime !!!!%$#%$^$%^$#^@%^

I know it's kinda dull and predicable, but I can't go past Matthew Kreuzer. It's difficult to think of any young Blues player who has impressed me as much as the big lad has thus far. Looks to have what it takes to be a big thing of the AFL.

Yeah good call blue eyes, I start to drool thinking of how good this kid could become. :)

Yes Toadster, he;s still really young and the sky is the limit, smokey for the brownlow this year IMO :thumbsu:

Hampson or Casboult.

Both showed some really good signs at Friday's intra-club match, and if they can keep developing, they could form a pretty handy duo in our forward 50.

:thumbsu: Yes good point HBF, Hampson is hovering on the horizon, could bust loose this year.

Couldn't agree more mate. He has definitely put on some size and I'm prediciting him to really step up this year, can't wait to see him turn it on.

Also, hearing some good things about Casboult. Interesting to see he's dropped 10kg's. Will be watchin him very closely in the NAB cup. Do many of you think he will get a regular run in '10?
