Trump may have been the perfect choice to be the boss of this show, because more successful CEOs were too busy to get involved in reality TV and didn’t want to hire random game show winners onto their executive teams. Trump had no such concerns. He had plenty of time for filming, he loved the attention and it painted a positive picture of him that wasn’t true.

it surprises me greatly that people don't understand this.
the reason a lot of business people are so successful is because they can open doors. you can't just poke anyone in a C-suite position and think it'll work, even someone who's studied and has all the correct qualifications. it just wont work. you need someone who can pick up the phone and will get an answer the other end.

The apprentice was make believe. the office was a set. wouldn't surprise me if we find out later his presidency is the same.
