I agree and nobody wins in war. I've been follwing this conflict from the beginning and have seen some truly horrifying footage that has brought me to tears. What I want is this conflict to end so that Ukrainan soldiers can return to their familys and that they and the civilans can begin rebuilding but for that to happen Russia has to leave.


When the inital rounds of peace talks happened I hoped they would succeed and that the war would end quickly.

What you're neglecting is Putin doesn't negotiatie in good faith and that link you shared even states that Putin seems uninterested in a compromise that would leave Ukraine as a sovreign state. How do negotiate with some one who belives your country shouldn't exist?

Even a former Russian Diplomat states Putin can't be trusted.

Russia was about to agree to 2014 borders, that included the reunification of Crimea that deal was scuttled by B.Johnson.

A lot of the disagreements came from after the dissolution of the Warsaw pact, where after the fall of the USSR, Russia believed that NATO, a hostile organisation to Russia agreed that wouldn’t expand eastwards. Putin saying this was a redline that has been widely recognised.

This was in France. Just got back from six weeks in Europe. I really did miss how easy going Australians are, got more rude interactions from absolute strangers in a month in a half than I've probably had in the last ten years in Australia.

Just trying to speak French makes all the difference. If you just go in with English they hate you, but they don't care if you butcher the French language, as long as you try. Been twice to France and loved the people. Heading back again end of the year. Cant wait!

Let’s be honest thou this isn’t an attack on race but class, this will lead to universities not being able to use other factors. It favors those who grew up in affluent, educated households surrounded in privilege.
