WTF is going on up there.
Must be a lot of blow ins new to the area who can't handle a disaster.
I'm not talking about the photo, people are panic buying like lunatics in SE Syria and Northern NSW.It's an old photo from the United States. It's not an actual post from QLD during this event.
If there was ever a boy-scout type post on this forum….it would be ^this^.It's an old photo from the United States. It's not an actual post from QLD during this event.

The irony being I bet you're one of those people who complains about 'pushy vegans' or something.
while they are waiting for it to pour up north, we are also waiting for a different pour,

Its ****ed up because those people have been thru decades of floods and storms and didn't behave like this before. Panic buying rarely happened in Australia in the past and was usually associated with specific shortages.
In the past people would prepare for storms and floods in the week beforehand but wouldn't buy every ****en thing on the shelves.
I kind of get why some people in Lismore are spinning out. I have friends who lost everything in that 2022 flood (a few you or your mates might have pulled out in those tinnies.) There's alot of rain related PTSD in the area, which I get. It still sets me on edge a little bit and I always lived at the top of the catchment. It’s wild mate, I can understand the panic up Lismore way but I’m based in Coffs and people are losing their minds.
So far we’ve had around 150mm of rain which is bugger all. Winds up to 80km/h which isn’t even that much. We’ve got evac orders in place for low lying areas yet the locals rivers aren’t even flowing brown (at this stage). Well below minor flood level. It’s like they are over compensating for the terrible response to previous flood/natural disaster events.
We’ve had panic buying and closed schools but the forecast isn’t anything close to being catastrophic.
Just doesn’t make sense to me.
As long as they keep to themselves and not push their hypocritical propaganda on others…ie - ‘you can’t eat meat’The irony being I bet you're one of those people who complains about 'pushy vegans' or something.
No.Is that real?
Cmon, can’t show us an unbaked cake, let’s see her
