It all comes down to (and I know they're your people kinda) but if Western Sydney wasn't swing seats - they probably would have condemned the attacks.

I get the self-interest aspect of not condemning the attacks, but I don't understand why you wouldn't as most Jews are left wing or at least were before it was blatantly obvious that they weren't safe under a left-wing government.

The only reason we've had any economic growth this century is because of immigration.

We've shut down manufacturing, privatised everything and sell our resources off for a pittance. That's why we will end up a third world country. No other reasons.

I criticise this country alot but I love it too and there's a hell of alot about it that's good and should make us all proud.

I think there's a reasonable difference between fighting for what we have, standing up for what we have and throwing it away. We're coming to a point rather quickly, where we need to say enough is enough, or you're right, they win and we lose what we have. Doing nothing is accepting the path we're on. Imo.

The path we're on is good (except for the bit about letting other people steal our resources.)

We should be proud of it.

We can't turn our backs on it because some people are ****ed up and behave like arseholes.

The path we're on is what inspired that Muslim fella, Ahmed Al Ahmed and a bunch of other people, some of whom didn't make it, to put their lives on the line for Jews and Christians and athiests without even thinking who they were or where they came from or what their politics or history were.
