Reckon they played about 13 minutes total of good football and almost got away with it.

Like the fact that Lyon won't hear a bar of the travel excuse.

But Lyon won't say that he coached poorly.

Not sure how i feel about pies getting through, i feel that if it was out of swans and WCE either of those teams could perhaps put up a fight against hawks, yet now pies are through, and with their incredible history at ANZ could beat swans. That just makes a bit easier for hawthorn.

For some reason, every time I watch Collingwood at the moment my dislike for Nathan Brown increases. Just little things he does- the unnecessary shove in the back of an opponent already on the ground being a prime example- grind my gears.

WA has failed the football community this week. Disgraceful efforts. Now we will get a Hawforn v Colonwood GF. Disgusting, won't even watch.

Collingwood can't beat Sydney forever. Tipping the streak to end next week.

As for Hawthorn v Adelaide.....yeeeeeah I'd like to say the Crows have a chance. I really can't see them getting close, though.

It will be a tough, hard slog but Collingwood will win by 2-3 goals. I'd love Sydney to break the hoodoo, but I can't see it. They love ANZ stadium, Sydney get nothing out of playing them there. Plus there's no Dawes or Maxwell to weigh down the pies with their spuddery.

Hawforn won't even have to get out of 2nd gear to win. If Adelaide got up it would be one of the biggest upsets in recent memory.

I think everyone realizes that Hawks are probably going to win. I rate Sydney a chance of beating them, but pies love playing ANZ so swans may not even make it.

I can't believe Pav didn't get into the AA team.

Was his early season form that shit? Hes been red hot for a couple of months.

Couldn't even fit Pavlich on the interchange.

A stupid, stupid award.

Pavlich is part of the swings and roundabouts.

Lucky to be in once or twice in the past, unlucky to miss in 2012.

Mitchell/Pavlich unlucky - Nicnat very lucky - Actually I am staggered.

AA selectors usually make a mistake by only choosing 2 tall backs, got it right with 3 tall backs in 2012, but only picked 2 tall forwards and Cox - No problem with choosing Cox - Most teams play 2 rucks - But a third tall forward could have been chosen on the bench.

GLASS Captain?
Are you serious?
Shouldn't even be in the team IMHO.

No Gibson?
The ****? Clearly the best defender in the comp this year. CLEARLY. Fletcher 2nd. In a pretty quiet year for backmen it must be said.

Obviously they've decided, after 8 years straight of picking pretty much whoever Geelong freed up in the backline, that they don't need a quality floating backman this year. Anyone surprised?

Pavlich had 11 goals in the first 9 weeks. That is NOT a great season. By any stretch.
