What about when Malthouse and Bucks coach against each other?

My natural inclination (borne of my Carlton hatred) is for Collingwood to smash them, but part of me would also like to see Eddie put in the awkward spot and have his protege outsmarted by the guy he essentially forced out. Just for shits and giggles.

Quentin Lynch (surprisingly in my opinion) had his charge downgraded at the tribunal this evening is now allowed to play against the Pies this weekend. Good news for them.

In equally pleasing news, North Melbourne fresh off their 16 goal loss on the weekend, were unsuccessful in challenging the Brent Harvey charge against Daniel Kerr and the suspension was upgraded from 3 to 4 weeks. He is now currently challenging the other charge on Selwood which is currently a 1 week suspension. So 5 weeks all up at the moment if there is no change...

why on earth would they have contested the first strike. Lynch, sure, could have basically got off due to benefit of the doubt, and the 2nd Harvey strike, sure, by the looks of it, there's another case of benefit of the doubt possibly saving him, but the Kerr strike? that was open and shut. silly.

Nothing like a bit of self-pwnage to finish the season off from our beloved 'rivals'.

What the hell were they thinking anyway? I hope Kerr dived - in which case Harvey only got a taste of his own medicine.

More worthwhile is Lynch getting off - a just result. Hooray for not getting punished for trying to get the ball. Sometimes people are going to get hurt. Intentionally.

How funny if Ratts gets the PA job and knocks off Carlton next year.

Primus was already doing an adequate job in that regard.

Thought Lynch would get off - AS LN said ' Lynch was intentionally going for the ball'and aimed to hurt.'

I don't know why the Kangaroos challenged the Harvey MRP decision - The charge was never going to be downgraded - And Ziebell was lucky to avoid suspension - Sometimes you win and you lose a little - make sure that you don't lose a lot.

Harvey case was very similar to the Hocking case.

Kerr threw a kidney punch which didn't land right - but enough for Harvey to notice and retaliate.

In the Hocking case - Hayes threw an arm at Howlett which glanced over his shoulder - Hocking retaliated by body checking Hayes.

It's interesting to see the different reactions of NOrth and Geelong.

Geelong copped two dodgy decisions from the MRP - but wisely decided not to challenge - But North decided to challenge - Probably shows the professionalism of the two clubs.

I wanted to like this twice.

You would think that most clubs would be pretty close to the same in this department, but it turns out that they aren't.

reminds me of that super ad.
His club doesn't make moronic tribunal appeals. His club does.
