I remember that game pretty well because of both Goodes coming back and the fact that we had a stirring win to keep our finals hopes alive. I remember pretty well that we didn't boo either

No, they didn't show us booing Goodes, I don't think we ever did. The usual suspects though when it comes to booing - Hawthorn, Essendon, Carlton, & West Coast supporters.

You can break down a match into smaller portions and find out when, where and how the match was won and lost. We decided to have look at each AFL team's 2019 season, break it down into four quarters and checking how teams perform best in each quarter
Interesting analysis of who wins the most if each quarters this year.
We're first for 2nd and 3rd quarters and second for 1st and 4th

Well, playing them is quite a distinct possibility, but how it goes from there only time will tell.
I suspect they'll grab the tag of favourites, unless we improve noticeably.
EDIT: Nick Riewoldt just claimed them as his favourites, and another commentator (?) reckoned we'd likely play off with a crowd of 80k, and 80% of those barracking for the Tigers
According to the ladder predictor, I've got the Tigers finishing 5th or 6th, winning each of their last 6 games, except against the Eagles.
My other selections aren't outrageous, either.

Put here as there is no real suggestion box, and I know I have raised this before.Would save the embarrassment of bozos going the early “Toast” thread by having them on the main board too.
Of the 16 non-expansion clubs with actual fan bases about 4-5 do it the same as we do, and only Brisbane has an active players sub-forum.
Having each players generic player thread on the main part of the forum prevents the toast/roast/opinion thread creation and duplication issue.
Just frustrated that I tried garnering opinion on Narkle and was shut down because he was discussed in game review. Game review threads should be for game review, broader player specific discussions need a place and Cat Scan is as dead as the last pope.
Edit: Case in point a new Toast thread for Dek. If he flops then there will be a roast thread soon enough. Splitting discussion.

If all humanity ends in the next 2 months, not sure there's any discussion around the 2nd part nor that it matters because you know, "all humanity has ended"
Also not sure this is a football discussion and probably has a more relevant discussion point somewhere on the main board
Great club with a proud history. The problem is now when any team has a prolonged drought younger fans seem to think that erases all history to what only they can remember. They're still the only club to have won three in a row twice. And I doubt anyone is going to come close to 5 flags in 6 years.
Either way, we might have get used to the idea of back to back for Melbourne. Barring injury, and astonishing loss of form, or a 1998/2008 Grand final day meltdown, they're going to take some serious beating.

Watching the State of Origin I've got to admire their sensible governance of the game.
Not as precious about physical contact, they allow the players to talk reasonably with the umps, and even bring the game to the fans by having a chat with the coaches during the game.

Actually a bit disappointed they haven't shown his 2nd goal. Which we now know is one that made it 1000, not his 3rd which they've shown.
