Ok that's the best one I have listened to thus far so cheers for that! Hook laden, I stayed with it and my feet were tapping by the end. Good riff too. On the down side I'm not a big fan of this guys vocals but they don't compell me to switch the song off. Also lyrically it's meh. I'll give it a 7/10

Loved this album back in the day, in that mid-2000's period there were so many good british alt/rock bands around. These guys, the Infadels, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Kaiser Chiefs, Bloc Party, Modest Mouse, The Fratellis etc etc. They are probably all still making music but haven't liked it as much since.

Hmm, that's actually not too bad. I would probably like it more if I were 20 years younger. The singer sounds like someone but I can't think who. The problem with it like so much post mellinial music is there is no real hook, and it compensates for it with that big over-produced sound. Bear in mind I'm not familiar with this band so first time listening but I'll give it a 6/10

Wombats have some cracking tunes, their early stuff is likely to be more to your taste, looks like some of it's already been posted.

The wombats are ok. Some decent songs (Give Me A Try is a ripper) but for me, they have more filler than anything.

Bit emo'ish for my tastes. It's alright on first listen - big sound although a little generic. What let's it down for me are the vocals - just didn't like them.
