Anyone else been watching the rings of power on prime? I don’t mind it at the moment, 5 eps in, it’s been slow but I do feel like it’s starting to pick up. The show has coped it on social media, I’ve just gone into it with an open mind, absolutely love the Jackson LOTR trilogy (goat for me), people comparing this show to that is a bit silly.

Watched the first 3 episodes and couldn’t get into it, it did motivate me to watch the original trilogy over the last week though. **** I forgot how good it was.

It's been okay for me . Waiting for a moment that really hooks me but hasn't happened yet. Overall I'm finding it quite uneventful.

Also watching house of the Dragon at the same time which in comparison I'm loving.

Im waiting for both shows to be fully out so I can binge. Bit worried about Rings of Power as it's copped it online. House of the Dragon getting better reviews but I'll keep an open mind and watch both for sure.

Original LOTR trilogy is all time.

Far out that dude was messed up. It’s pretty well done, bit slow though. Probably could’ve done it in 6 or 7 episodes.
Watched three eps so far, messed up is putting it nicely, but I guess all serial killers are lol.

I've heard some people cant get through it, like it's actually too much.

I've read about Dahmer, if they depict even half the shit he really did, it's gonna be a pretty tough watch to be honest.

Should have just been the 1 season imo.
I just started to watch the show the last few days, I'm on school holidays so needed something to binge. I just started the second season and admit it's starting to lose me. I said to my partner that these shows sometimes can go off the rails and get a bit stupid and that's what seems to be happening, I'll persist a little bit more but I agree sometimes they should just stop it at one season.

Ep1 of S2 hasn't made me want to watch anymore. Just garbage.

Apparently it's following the books which brings in supernatural elements, not sure if I really want to continue if that's the case.

I received an email from Optus.

”It is with great disappointment I’m writing to let you know that Optus has been a victim of a cyberattack that has resulted in the disclosure of some of your personal information.

Importantly, no financial information or passwords have been accessed.“

That’s good. :D

The information which has been exposed is your name, date of birth, email, phone number, address associated with your account, and the numbers of the ID documents you provided such as drivers licence number or passport number. No copies of photo IDs have been affected.

That’s bad. 😂

I was waiting for this type of email but I'm one of the lucky ones I guess.

On the vic roads website you can get a free new licence and optus will cop the bill.

On morning TV they showed the email the hackers said that they were going to delete data.

Definitely Chinese hackers, I recognise the language used from years of dealing with Chinese wholesalers.

They were demanding $1.55m - apparently they changed their mind and decided to delete data. How generous of them.
