24.
I'd go to England while they do most of their shit.
But I'd get to Paris for their anniversary, then dad/great uncle go on some historical war tour while I stay in Paris with mother and great aunt.
Apologies, I assumed your first trip was by yourself.

Wouldn't you want to go with your old man and uncle?

depends. If they cover a lot of the funds then i would hang out with them for a couple days and then piss off and go mental.
Fair enough. Each to their own I guess.

I like WW2 history. Don't give a shit about WW1 battlefields.
I didn't see everything I wanted to in Paris last time I was there, so want to go back anyway. And a few days with mum/great aunt doing everything else entices me more then being on a bus for 4 days with 60 year old men just looking at some hills which have some weird historical significance.

I'd probably look at 1-1.5 weeks in England on my own, then 0.5-1 week in France with the family.

Paris is an absolutely amazing city. I have been there twice and would go again most definitely. I was there for 6 days last year and it was only on the afternoon of the fifth day (flew out the morning of the 6th) was that I started to get sick of it. Just a great city. The food is amazing. Their landmarks are brilliant, the architecture is breath taking. Just absolutely amazing.

Mangifique.

Berlin is ****ing amazing too. An infinite amount of things to do.

Yeah NZ would be great, very scenic, and it wouldn't be expensive at all.

I've only been to Europe twice, far and away Berlin, Paris & London were my favourites.

I did South Island with the missus last year and loved it. Hired a car and was there for 16 days, could have easily stayed longer, scenery is amazing when there's snow(without it most likely too). While we did look at prices we didn't go tight ass either and for everything was about 4k between two of us which I thought was pretty good considering we got stuff like helicopter rides along the way. I was amazed at how cheap and great their food was, wine too apparently.

I went to Zimbabwe in 1999, would love to go back to Africa some time... probably not Zimbabwe anymore though, it really was an amazing experience just hiring a 4x4 and driving around there. Next big trip planned for Europe in 2 years when I have long service to use, can't wait.

If I went, I would probably go by myself. I have a few friends there who I would like to see. One in Auckland and another in Wellington. I am not sure though when I will go, it's not a priority but I do want to see it.

Have you been to Europe before?

I was told you need 4 weeks in NZ if you do the lot. At least 2 in South Island(which is true) and 10-14 days in North Island(Mum went there and reckons you could do it in 7 though).

Yeh twice but not since 2006... so will be about a decade when I do go again. Got lucky enough in 99 for my parents to take my brothers and I on a 6 month trip so also went there, as well as Africa and finished off in Asia. Besides those have also been to America, which never really appealed to me but one of my best mates was getting married there so went over for that and actually loved it.

Cooldude where you born in Hong Kong? Love that city. Incredible how 6-7 million people live in such a (relatively) small area, and it just works. The public transport system is the best I've come across so far, just like clockwork.

And Lan Kwai Fong, put on a few clinics there back in the day.

I was born in Kowloon, lived there for the early days, not rich enough to live on Hong Kong Island or poor enough to live at New Territory

Transport system's amazing, although it is probably easier to make it efficient since it's such a small area

Lan Kwai Fong had some crazy incidents back in the day I was born, think there was a New Year's Eve where people died stomping on each other during the celebrations

I didn't really enjoy the big cities so much as the driving around and seeing stuff. Went to Yellowstone, would say that's a must for anyone that goes there. LA didn't really do it for me, extremely dirty and people tended to be rude... would expect money for directions and stuff like that. Nicest people were in Texas surprisingly.

Yeah I really want to see Yellowstone. I think it would be amazing. And New York I can't even fathom how grand it must be

Sydney's Chinatown is amazing, actually makes me feel home, incredibly asian
I didn't really get to see much when I was there. Went to Darling Harbour and I really enjoyed that and went on a ferry ride. Was staying near Homebush and there is **** all out there and it was about 25 mins on the train to the city.

New York City is so, so boss. Greatest city in the world I think. Their is always something going on. Unbelievable place.

Ive traveled quite a bit, I love it. Let's see...

England
Scotland
France
Austria
Germany
Spain
Switzerland
Greece
Turkey
Netherlands
Poland
Czech Republic
Egypt
Israel
USA

That's just off the top of my head, I love it. I want to head off again, been saving for a little while. So many place I want to see aswell. I havent done any of Asia really at all. I want to see China, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, I also want to check out NZ aswell as I hear great things. Also want to go check out Canada and do more of the USA.

Want to head back to Europe too and do some of the northern countries. Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway.

Havent been to Ireland yet either and would love to check out Africa.

My niece keeps me here though. I would miss her growing up as when I go away, I tend to leave for like a year, rather than a few weeks holidays. I will go away again though.

Looks like we are all well travelled :thumbsu:

People in Melbourne are fantastic. I remember the first time I was there all I had to do was tell someone I wasn't from there and BAM! lists of all the pubs/clubs/events/hidden local gems from everyone everytime. Very easy to strike up a conversation with people.

Sydney, as a city, is probably more attractive but the people.....ehhh.....kinda assholes as soon as they find out you are from WA.

Most people from Perth are kunts though so I can probably understand that reaction.

Never been to Japan.

Jap birds are hawt, second only to Korean in Asia.

I love Melbourne. Go there at least 3 times a year, normally more as it's usually around $120 return from here. Easily the best city in Australia to travel to in my opinion. I almost hate Sydney, sure there's some good sites but it's expensive and the people are just assholes to everyone, not just those from Perth! I don't mind Perth but have a lot of mates there so makes it a bit different probably. Brisbane/GC is OK but the large douche count up there grinds you down after a while. Adelaide, nice people but not a great deal to do compared to others.

I've been to

England, Scotland, Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Italy, Slovenia, Vatican City, Holland, Belgium & Croatia.

Would go back to Europe again as I have said, but probably not for like 10 years.

And Melbourne :cool::thumbsu:

Yeah Queensland is an odd place in general.

I don't think I've met a bigger group of closed off, bigoted, bogans anywhere else in Australia (and I've lived in Port Hedland and Newman in WA) then when I travelled from Brisbane to Cairns.

If I had to list my favourite cities I've been to (And long enough to actually be fair)
1. Yekaterinburg
2. St Petersburg
3. Vienna
4. Paris
5. Berlin
6. Dubai
7. Singapore
8. Adelaide
9. Rome
10. London
11. Prague
12. Barcelona
13. Los Angeles
14. Moscow
15. Melbourne
16. Vancouver
17. Amsterdam
18. Sydney
19. San Francisco
20. Munich
21. Florence
22. Brisbane
23. Venice
24. Vatican

I've been to others (Monaco, Perth, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Nice, Lucerne, Dresden, Avignon etc.) But I wasn't there long enough to feel I could rate them from favourite to least on my list.
