You didnt need to be from Seattle to make grunge music haha. Sixteen Stone is a great album. They just dont have a body of work compared to other grunge outfits.

Not sure that's a great album mate, unless you are comparing it to the mainstream crap that's been spoon fed to the public the past 30 years or so

Definitely a great album. I think it made Rolling Stone's top 500 albums of all time.

Destroys all the dross that comes out today.

So many great albums, so many different styles of music.

The Beatles - any album.
The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
Snoop Dogg - Doggystyle
Oasis - What's the Story and Definitely Maybe
Nirvana - Nevermind
No Doubt - Tragic Kingdom
Green Day - Dookie
GnR - Use Your Illusion II
Michael Jackson - Thriller, Bad and Dangerous
Muse - Absolution
Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
The Strokes - Is This It


There are some examples. Obviously if I was doing a top 500 albums of all time. Some would be closer to number 1 like the Beatles and stuff and some would be further back in the 400-500 range.

But some albums I think are great are pretty different. Like Tragic Kingdom isnt Revolver but it's great for different reasons etc
