Only listened once through. Not as immediate as I was expecting based on the singles but seems like it will be a slow burner. Need to read the lyrics as well. He's got a way with words.

I wouldn't really say they are like anyone. They are a scottish indie-rock band that started as a solo project of the singer Scott Hutchinson but are now a five piece. They are very critically acclaimed with their second album, Midnight Organ Fight, a critical darling. Their next two albums, Winter of Mixed Drinks and Pedestrian verse are fantastic themselves. The latest album was produced by one of the Dessner brothers, who is a guitarist for The National (another fantastic band).

If you like brooding songs with lyrical poetry and anthemic choruses but enjoy a few swearwords hear and there, these guys are for you. Midnight Organ Fight is a great place to start and is possibly the best break up album I've ever heard (that's alot of praise but I found them when I was going through one).

Mon Mothma and Yavin IV did it for me.

Yeah it's great because it's old Star Wars, its what we grew up with. So it's old Star Wars but new. Mon Mothma, older ships and vehicles like Star Destroyers and AT-AT's, old school Stormtrooper, and those white rebellion helmets they all wear.

Loved it all.

He has a very thick Scottish accent. I'd say they are better than Biffy and more accessible at the same time despite being a little left of centre.
