Fair enough. Thought their third album was brilliant too. First was fantastic.

How about The Killers?

Big fan of some of their stuff then other songs rewlly bore me. I've got a weird taste though. For instance I can't stand Humans which many think is one of their best

Nah that album is crap - though I do have random periods of liking it.

Was just naming them as another band with a great debut then not much afterwards but are still eking out a career.

Sam's town was also very very good but yeah from there it's been quite bland

They tend to have a few really good songs on each album but these rest fall flat but that's all that matters these days as songs get released all over the joint as singles and not with an album.

This is just the $5 note. The rest of the new series will be introduced gradually over time. Complete with new security features and tactile feature to help the vision impaired.

I do wonder if we'll be seeing some new faces for the larger denominations now that we've had our current series for more than 20 years.

Before you ask, yes, the Queen does look older here.

TAB: Definitely a missed opportunity for the new $5 note...

See I like all of those albums a lot. Silent alarm obviously being the standout and I love that album. Currently going through a big phase of listening to Intimacy

Wouldn't surprise me since this will be the "3rd" generation of Australian decimal currency. The faces were changed from 1st to 2nd gen.

Queen Lizzy will stay but i'd bet the other will be rotated.

As a big bloc party fan, I agree. Silent alarm is one of the most perfect albums I've ever heard but then they went stadium-ish with A Weekend in the City, which I still like but it didn't have the same energy as SA. Then they did Intimacy which was completely different again and I still enjoyed it but it just didn't have the same immediacy. Four was ok with some good stuff mixed with rubbish. Ratchet made me think they were back on track but the new album is pretty mediocre.

Surprising. I haven't met anyone who's liked it that much. I like Kettling, Leaf Skeleton, truth, VALIS and We are not good people. The rest don't get much playtime.

Kele changed once he did his solo album and just tried to change the band dramatically rather than show an actual progression.
